Veer Kunwar Singh

  Veer Kunwar Singh is a historical novel for young readers based on the life of one of the foremost heroes of India’s First War of Independence in 1857. Written by Birendra Mohan Raturi, the book recounts the remarkable story of Kunwar Singh, the aging ruler of Jagdishpur in Bihar, who rose in rebellion against British rule at the age of seventy-five.
