The Structure

The 1971 India-Pakistan war lasted for 14 days, from 3rd of December to 16th of December. We propose a 14 episode series where each episode covers one day of the war. Each episode will be composed of three parts.

  • Prologue for about 4-5 minutes, where hosts take us through the events that are occuring in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and around the world in the context of the conflict
  • Main Story, a LIVE action episodes that shows a significant battle or event that occured on the particular day. For instance Episode 01 will show the events of 3rd Dec, 1971. Episode 02 will show a significant battle of 4th Dec, 1971 and so on. Each battle will be shown from the perspective of the soldier – what they saw, what they felt, what they experienced.
  • Epilogue for about 4-5 minutes where the hosts will describes the events that happened on both Eastern and Western fronts and tie the events, episodes and history together, like a Sutradhar
